Shelter dogs are awesome. That's one thing I've learned while making this illustration and hearing the stories behind some of these kids. It's hard to capture each and every shelter dog but here are a few that represent the many dogs that are rescued from shelters and given loving homes each year. Part of the proceeds from the 17 x 28 shelter dog tea towels will go to the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City.
