"Jennifer Main is a fine artist currently based out of Tustin, CA. Main’s expressionistic work is instantly recognizable for her bold use of color and joyful whimsy, though much of her earlier work had some darker undertones as she drew from her personal struggles and used art as a way to process and heal. As a young girl Jennifer was painfully shy and brimming with imagination. Her discomfort with speaking to people caused her to discover she could communicate more freely and comfortably through art and saw that people resonated with it. She knew she had discovered her passion. Early on, she drew much of her inspiration from artists Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso, Keith Haring, and Marc Chagall. Currently her art often illustrates the joys of God’s love and the beauty of life as her life was radically touched, healed, and changed by him. Jennifer paints from her imagination and her work has strong themes of music, faith, romance, strong woman, and love. Main’s primary mediums are acrylic painting, chalk pastels, and pencil."
