4mm thick poplar plywood Blank rectangle boards, our plaques are ideal for crafting and plaque making. They have a nice smooth finish ready to embellish, paint or decorate yourself.

Material/wood type:

• 4mm thick poplar plywood
• This is a good quality unfinished plywood that is perfect for wooden craft shapes. Poplar is an Italian, pale coloured, light weight low density hardwood. Its natural wood appearance makes it perfect for clear finishes, waxes, left natural or is perfect for painting. We lightly sand both sides before they leave the workshop, but if you require a really smooth finish some extra preparation and sanding may be needed. As with all timber products it will have some grain markings, flecks or small knots on the faces. We use lasers to cut our shapes and this process leaves a light brown edge to the shape. It can also leave a few small flash/scorch marks behind. This is easily painted over or can be removed by sanding.
